Further pushing the boundaries of adventure sports and travel photography, GoPro has today announced it’s all-new GoPro HERO8 Black Camera, GoPro MAX and Mods into its product line up.
The brand new HERO8 Black camera improves on previous versions with HyperSmooth 2.0 video stabilisation, upgraded audio capabilities, customisable preset modes and a sleeker streamlined design. It also comes packed with TimeWarp features which are perfect for hyperlapse-style videos.
This new flagship camera will also support a new range of accessories called “Mods” which can update the camera with professional-grade audio, a front-facing display and enhanced lighting. Think of it as your mini Casey-Neistat vlogging set up. These Mods will be available from GoPro in December.
Lastly, and the biggest yet is the GoPro MAX. They say it’s pretty much three cameras in one, that’s also waterproof to 16 feet. It can be used as a single lens max stabilised HERO camera, a dual-lens 360 camera or a vlogging camera. Our favourite feature is probably the Max SuperView which is GoPro’s widest, most immersive field of view ever. Oh, did we mention it captures video at 5.6K.
The HERO8 Black is available to preorder today at GoPro.com, with shipments beginning 15 October and retails for AUD$599.95. The GoPro MAX is available to preorder today at GoPro.com, with shipments beginning 24 October and retails for AUD$799.95.
