After announcing a new location in Vienna, Austria, Leica then announced a new, limited edition camera—the M10-P Bold Grey Edition. The camera will be limited to just 60 units worldwide. Seeing that it commemorates the opening of a new location, and the limited quantity, this camera will no doubt go quickly, becoming part of a few lucky collector’s collections.
But just because this is a camera marking a milestone for the company doesn’t mean that Leica skimped on the hardware. The M10-P is the same as before with its digital rangefinder, classic round lens hood, and 24-megapixel full-frame sensor, adding in a Summicron-M 1:2/35 ASPH lens. The M10-P also sports a red anodized release button as well as solid brass components.
True to the name, the camera comes in grey, including the lens, which comes in anthracite grey. The leather case and strap are also a cement grey and have been accented with red stitching.
The camera retails for around USD$16,500.
