Measuring 7.16 x 4.92 x 7.55 inches in size, the new Emotn N1 is a compact, elegant-looking powerhouse of a projector that can be positioned almost anywhere. The projector features a native 1080p resolution and can throw images from 60 to 120 inches wide, courtesy of its in-builtLED light source, which promises to last 30,000 hours and offers up to 500 ANSI lumens brightness. To deliver stunning visuals, there’s even support for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG codec, which quite sounds impressive on paper. Sound and audio have also been taken care of as the Emotn N1 comes fitted with two 5W built-in speakers and Dolby Audio to further enrich the whole viewing experience.
The Emotn N1 runs on Linux-based OS and has native support for Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. The remote accompanying the projector has hotkeys for all three primary streaming services, thus “allowing consumers to access their go-to apps with a single press.” You can further expand your viewing options by sticking a streaming stick into its HDMI port. For connectivity, the N1 includes all the necessary ports such as HDMI, USB-A and an audio jack.
Somewhat surprisingly, there is even support for 5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, letting you wirelessly pair external devices to the projector with absolute ease and speed. As per the manufacturer, “the Emotn N1 employs a super easy setup with the cutting-edge ToF (Time-of-Flight) Laser Autofocus and Auto Keystone Correction, to free the user’s hands to a great extent. Viewers can always get a clear rectangular picture in seconds, and the entire adjustment process is nearly seamless to them.”
While there’s no support for 4K or super high lumens here, the N1 does pack some serious punch considering its price. Based on the sheer amount of things on offer, the projector is definitely one of the cheapest and provides the best value for your money. The Emotn N1 projector is currently available for purchase in the US for USD$399.99, with a UK launch on the horizon. The company is even offering a $50 discount at Amazon using an in-page coupon right now, making the deal even more lucrative.
