Atlas 4 Piece Winder Safe

Starting with the big guns, WOLF describes this heavy-duty offering as “an impenetrable fortress”, and it’s easy to see why. Constructed using steel—painted and polished to a sophisticated mirror finish—this 331kg behemoth will stand up to burglary and fire, so even if the worst should happen, you can rest easy knowing that your watches, jewellery, and other valuables are well protected. 

More specifically, this safe has undergone certification testing by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a process which placed the Atlas under conditions of 927°C (1,700°F) for up to two hours and then dropped the safe 30 feet for good measure. Under these extreme conditions, temperatures inside were limited to 177°C (350°F), which is significant as paper only starts to burn at 232°C (450°F). The testing also revealed the effectiveness of the safe’s water resistance thanks to its Palusol fire seal, which expands to eight times its original size, sealing the door and keeping your contents bone dry.

Even outside the intense conditions of infernos or floods, the Atlas provides the care your timepieces need. Offering a particularly gentle touch, this horological haven contains seven drawers—three open drawers, two jewellery drawers, and two watch drawers—lined with LusterLoc-treated fabrics, which prevent tarnishing for up to 35 years. 

Sitting above these, you’ll find four watch winders you can independently or simultaneously set to rotate clockwise, anti-clockwise, or bi-directional via the accompanying WOLF app. You can also program a delay of up to 255 hours before winding commences in order to accommodate a recently worn timepiece or one with a particularly impressive power reserve, and there are rotation options that reach up to a whopping 1,999 turns per day.

Boasting the same suite of app-controlled features as the Atlas, this unit will keep your watches perfectly wound via a process that can be customised and managed from your phone. Each of these winders delivers 900 bi-directional turns per day with a 10-second start delay, all running on patented intermittent rotation programmes with pause and sleep phases. If you need to secure more than four watches, further storage sits above the winders in the form of a vault tray with a removable three-piece watch tray.

To ensure security, this safe can be anchored through a pair of pre-drilled holes in the base and an additional two holes through the back, while its contents can only be accessed via a biometric identifier or keycode.
