One of the most recognisable vehicles in motion picture history, the “Batmobile” first appeared in Batman’s Detective Comics #48 in February 1941. Since then, it’s seen multiple iterations, from George Barris’ 1966 Lincoln to Michael Keaton’s jet-powered vehicle in Tim Burton’s 1989 movie “Batman.” However, no Batmobile has been more popular than Bruce Wayne’s “Tumbler.”
It first appeared in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight,” driven by Christian Bale as Batman, and it became a fan favourite. With a sprinkling of Mad Max, the Tumbler was equipped with gun turrets, explosive mines, smoke screens, and advanced software. It was a monster truck with a jet engine and half a country’s weapons systems attached to it, but could you imagine having one sitting in your driveway?
Well, we have some exciting news because if you’ve always dreamed of owning the Batman Tumbler, now’s your chance. Just 10 Tumbler Batmobiles are being made thanks to Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and Relevance International, which has sanctioned the vehicle for a limited production run. Priced at USD$2,990,000, they’ll be available via allocation only at brucewaynex.com, and if you want a build slot, then you better get in quick. Here’s everything that you need to know about the Tumbler.

Based around a custom aeronautical steel-framed chassis and made from a combination of Kevlar, carbon fibre, sheet metal, and fibreglass, the Tumbler takes 12-15 months to build.
It’s powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 (like a VF II Holden Commodore) and weighs 2.5 tonnes (5,511 lbs). To help shift this weight around, the brand has connected the big V8 engine to a GM 4L85E Paddle-shift Transmission, which sends 525 HP and 486 ft-lbs of torque to the ground through the rear wheels only.
Sadly, the jet engine is a simulation and does not produce flames, but stainless steel exhaust headers have been fitted to make sure it sounds as mean as it looks.
With an immense weight, the brand has thoughtfully included large 4-wheel power disc brakes, and these back oversized wheels measure 15.0 /94-15 up front and 18.5 / 44-16.5 in the rear. The driver’s compartment features a two-seat configuration with 5-point racing car seat harnesses.
Most of your favourite Tumbler features are there, including a smoke screen, imitation turrets, LED guns, and an authentic interior with bespoke seating trim. This is joined by a digital dashboard, GPS, 10-inch screens, air conditioning, black Alcantara headlining, a choice of MPH/KM/H gauges, and 5-point racing car seat harnesses for safety. Oh, and did we mention there are one-way mirrored glass screens so the public can’t see who’s driving?
Ten of these Tumblers are being made, and we only know of one other in existence, which isn’t sanctioned by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP). It’s owned by Alex ‘Lambo Jesus’, who commissioned Marc Irvin of RPM Productions to create a custom-made Batman Tumbler.
The Wayne Enterprises Tumbler is accepting expressions of interest for their USD$2,990,000 Batman Tumbler right now. Once you’ve been selected as one of the ten owners and an allocation slot has been secured, the production timeline is 15 months from the date of deposit.
