Alright, alright, alright, party people. It’s the weekend, and we’re all putting up our feet in anticipation of a big week ahead. We’ll have several of our team out of the office travelling around the world – some doing stuff you’ll know about (the yearly Watches and Wonders in Geneva), and others doing secret shady things you’ll find out about in due course.

While you wait to find out all the cool stuff we have in the works for you, dear reader, pray check out some of our favourite stuff from the week that was.

I’ve been using this cage for the past couple of months, and it’s honestly been a game changer. I’ve been using it with our new Sony A7 IV, and the cafe is super lightweight thanks to the carbon-fiber build, but still incredibly sturdy. I love how versatile it is — the top and side handles make handheld and vertical shots so much easier, and all the mounting options mean I can rig it up exactly how I need for all our different content. Total upgrade to my workflow.

Baume & Mercier Clifton 10758

Rob Edwards – Branded Content Editor

To Man of Many’s watch-loving readers, I’ll be boarding the earliest of flights on Monday morning so I can bring you all the news worth reporting from Watches and Wonders next week. I appreciate you reading.

While getting to Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport by 4 a.m. (at the latest) to ensure I don’t miss my plane will be an absolute nightmare, I take some solace in knowing I’ll be wearing one of my favourite releases from last year’s proceedings throughout this particular Genevan jaunt. This Clifton model is not just one of my picks from Baume & Mercier, but one of my highlights of the whole Watches and Wonders 2024 convention.

Regular readers might know I have a soft spot for Baume & Mercier, but for those who are new here, the brand has a wonderful pedigree and yet keeps its watches comparably accessible. This particular Clifton model has a timeless elegance that I love, and its moon-phase complication is just beautiful.

With that, keep an eye out for the incoming avalanche of Watches and Wonders 2025 coverage encompassing all the maisons worthy of your attention. I’ll be getting very little shuteye while there, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. Any time I’m commuting, grabbing a snack, or sacrificing sleep, I’ll be regularly glancing at my wrist, taking in the Clifton 10758 in all its glory.

Ninja DoubleStack Air Fryer

Ninja DoubleStack Air Fryer

Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships

FOMO has gotten the best of me and I am finally in the air fryer game. As the name suggests, Ninja’s DoubleStack models have the drawers vertically on top of each other which means you save bench space. It’s a huge win and an answer to the complaints of skeptics, who often worry that these machines are ‘too bulky’. Not true anymore.

The first thing I tried in the air fryer was sliced up pieces of chicken, sweet potatoes and broccoli. There is a range of great ways you can actually execute the cooking including air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate and max crisp. You also have the flexibility of each draw having different temperatures and lengths of time so it really is versatile for cooking multiple things at once. Anyway, this thing performed way better than I thought it would and I received my first ever “wow, air fryers are amazing” moment.

Finally, as a Dad this thing is also great for quick dinner bites and sides for the kids. I am only early in my air fryer journey, but so far it has far exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to experimenting further. Did I mention you don’t even have to preheat?

Remedy Sodaly

Remedy Sodaly

John Guanzon – Head of Social

Earlier in the year we moved into a new office and Remedy Drinks kindly offered to christen our fridge with three massive boxes of Remedy Kombucha and Sodaly. Safe to say, it’s been the best kind of fridge takeover–a nice change from the stacks of plastic Sistema boxes and leftover office cake. While the kombucha has its loyal fans, it’s the Sodaly that’s become my go-to, especially during that 3pm slump when you’re craving something fizzy but trying not to spiral into a sugar crash.

For the uninitiated, Sodaly is Remedy’s take on the classic soft drink, except only without the sugar, weird chemicals, or guilt. Instead, you get a crisp, bubbly hit of flavour (the Yuzu flavour is dangerously good) plus prebiotic fibre to support gut health. You honestly wouldn’t even know it’s good for you, which is kind of the point. Sadly, the office fridge is slowly being emptied as word spreads about how good they are—so I reckon it’s time for a restock!

Nike Dri-Fit Essential Micro Boxer Briefs

Harry Parsons – Senior Branded Content Manager

I have been slowly upgrading my workout shirts and shorts to Nike’s Dri-FIT technology, and I’ve been really impressed with the difference. My old gear used to retain sweat and develop a noticeable odor, but the Dri-FIT shirts and shorts have significantly improved that. Knowing how well the Dri-FIT works for my top and bottom layers, I wanted to bring that same level of performance and comfort to my entire workout outfit. So, I decided to try the Nike Essential Micro Boxer Briefs.

These briefs are a great combination of comfort and practicality, mainly through the sweat-wicking features. Expanding on the practicality of the briefs, they are rather stretchy, which is leagues above your standard cotton underwear, providing more freedom of movement when lifting or doing a HIIT class. Another great feature is the wide hems that keep the trunks in place, no longer do I need to awkwardly pull my underwear down during the workout.

It feels like the final piece of the puzzle in creating the ideal workout wardrobe.
