Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Wax Figure Paris

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Hates His New Wax Statue in Paris

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not exactly stoked about the recent launch of his wax figure in Paris. The Hollywood superstar has taken to Instagram to tell his 391 million followers that his team will reach out to the Grevin Museum about “updating” the model after many have pointed out one glaring issue. Take a look for yourself and try to guess what the problem might be…

The sculpture of the 51-year-old recently debuted at the French wax museum and was immediately roasted by fans. Noticing a much lighter skin complexion compared to the WWE star, many drew comparisons to Vin Diesel, Pitbull and even Mr. Clean. However, it was comedian James Jefferson Jr.’s hilarious rant, in which he brilliantly described the wax figure as disrespectful, that had The Rock in stitches. The Red Notice star couldn’t resist reposting it on his social media (see above).”

As you’d expect, the rest of the internet was quick to follow up with jokes of their own.

“When you order The Rock off Wish.com,” one person tweeted. Another posted, “… mannn… if they don’t get this Dwayne Diesel Sosa wax figure tf outta here.” Someone else commented, “that’s not The Rock that’s The Glacier”.

However, it’s not just the French struggling in the wax department. The wax figure of rapper Lil Wayne (see above) at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, has recently copped a flogging online. According to reports, it’s been on display since last year but is currently going viral for all the wrong reasons.

“They did Lil Wayne FILTHYYYY,” one person wrote on X on this week. Like The Rock, Weezy himself had to step in and share his thoughts on the matter, writing, “Sorry wax museum but dat sh– ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort”.

Honestly, we’re baffled that people still go to Wax museums in 2023. Considering the level of talent in the industry, maybe it’s time to pack it in and start doing something else.
