BANG! Steph Curry is the Latest Basketball Star to Join PGA Tour 2K23

PGA Tour 2K23 has announced Stephen Curry as a playable golfer in its latest video game. Cranking up the star power to new heights, the four-time NBA champion will now join fellow basketball icon Michael Jordan and an array of PGA Tour pros for some action on the virtual links. Let’s hope the point guard can sink putts the same way he shoots threes.

When Curry can’t be found on the hardwood, he’s usually on the dance floor. The Golden State Warrior has played golf from an early age and boasts an impressive +0.1 handicap. A true athlete in every sense of the word, he even made the cut in a Korn Ferry Tour star in 2017 and has shown off his skills in multiple charity matches with professionals, including six-time major winner Phil Mickelson. In 2019, Curry signed a multi-year deal with golf brand giant Callaway, using the partnership to launch multiple programs that support the development of rising talent.

Stephen Curry will be available to all PGA TOUR 2k23 players as a free download at launch. Boasting his own line of golf clothing and accessories in real life, gamers will be able to play as the 34-year-old fully decked out in a distinctive Under Armour Curry Iso-Chill Golf adjustable cap, Charged Curry SL shoes, Curry Polar polo shirt and Curry Limitless shorts.

It was revealed earlier this year that the GOAT Michael Jordan would also be a playable character for those who pre-order PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition or purchase the Deluxe Edition or Tiger Woods Edition. Gamers will now be able to tee up a head-to-head competition between the two basketball greats to determine which hoops star is the ultimate links legend. Additionally, players take on an elite roster of PGA TOUR pros, including Tiger Woods, Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko, and more.

PGA TOUR 2K23 Deluxe Edition and PGA TOUR 2K23 Tiger Woods Edition (Digital Only) are currently scheduled for release on October 11th, followed by PGA TOUR 2K23 Standard Edition on October 14th, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam.
