The 10-episode historical drama series will see the Australian Emmy Award winner transform into Christian Dior as he rises to prominence amidst the horrors of World War II. Set against the Nazi occupation of Paris, “The New Look focuses on the pivotal moment in the twentieth century when the French city led the world back to life through its fashion icon Christian Dior,” reads the synopsis.

The interwoven saga will also follow the stories of Dior’s contemporaries and rivals from Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche), Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga and others, providing an insight into the atelier designs and clothing created by the iconic Frenchman.
