Nike Air More Uptempo ’96 ‘Dark Pony and Soft Pink’
The Nike Air More Uptempo ’96 always looks bold and striking but there’s something particularly special about this colourway. The perforated brown leather dominates the upper while the accents of pink make it pop. Cream overlays meet a maroon underlay, topped off by a bright pink Swoosh that could ensure love at first site. The Dunk is always better off when it’s kept relatively simple and this three-colour combo is the perfect mix and match to highlight the bold outlines of the Dunk. Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 ‘Football Grey’
Bold, curvaceous silhouettes are leading the charge when it comes to shoe comebacks this year and that’s exactly why the Air Zoom Flight 95 is having another moment. It was one of the first shoes to adopt the Zoom Air technology and while that’s old news these days, the Air Zoom Flight 95 feels like a celebration of it. The “bug-eye” detailing on the midsole complete with Air branding makes it look like you could jump to the moon. This colourway keeps it classic mixing black and white with a Football Grey Swoosh. Nike drop today (February 17).
adidas Arkesden SPZL ‘Fox Red / Night Brown / Off White’
adidas’ ’70s-flavoured sneakers are experiencing a renaissance this year with the Campus, Gazelle and Samba all experiencing a big comeback. You can add the Arkesden SPZL to that list. It’s very similar in shape as the tooling is based off the Campus but the rest switches it up a tad. The price point is slightly higher as it’s a more premium shoe. On this drop, a Fox Red suede upper meets Night Brown stripes and black laces. It’s got a vintage look and feel and if you want a pair you’ll have to become an adidas Member.
New Balance BB550 BEIGE
The New Balance BB550 was re-introduced back into the NB family in 2020 and instantly became one of the most sought-after sneakers. Now it’s a staple thanks to its late ’80s vintage style and classic versatility. This latest release is going to be a sought-after one thanks to its simplicity. The BB550 arrives with three new colourways red, green and blue but they’re all undercut by a cream base. The suede and leather upper is a classy combination particularly given the colours used. This is a premium take on the Jordan 4 with grid-embossed leather replacing the usual plastic webbing.
