H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic
The watchmaker’s first steel sports watch with an integrated steel bracelet, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic is an avantgarde, ultra-modern and completely out-of-left-field watch from the independent manufacturer. Featuring a movement created in collaboration with AGENHOR, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic is definitely not something I saw coming from H. Moser & Cie. Nevertheless, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic is a well pronounced, well defined timepiece that has bucket-loads of wrist presence. Can’t wait to see what else H. Moser & Cie does with it in the future.
IWC x Hayden Cox: Haydenshape’s Upcycling Manufacturing of Waste
Hayden Cox, IWC’s Australian brand ambassador and renowned surfboard designer, have come together again to create a film showcasing the designer’s work. With a focus on sustainability, Hayden Cox’s business revolves around upcycling materials as part of his manufacturing methods in creating his surfboards. Hayden has amassed a donation pool of over $120,000 in the first 24 hours, all of which will be donated to the WIRES Wildlife Rescue charity.
Grand Seiko Opens its First Australian Boutique in Sydney
The title says it all: Grand Seiko has officially opened the doors to its first ever Australian boutique right here in Sydney. Located in Westfield Sydney, this bustling location is the perfect place for Grand Seiko to set up shop. The store will hold the full range of Grand Seiko’s timepieces, including the limited edition 20th Anniversary Spring Drive dress series. Pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Zenith Elite Moonphase
Available in either 40.50mm or 36mm, with each sizing option available in stainless steel or 18k rose gold, the new Elite Moonphase from Zenith is a beautiful iteration of the much beloved moonphase complication. With either a silver or slate grey sunray dial, the Elite Moonphase balances a striking aesthetic with subtlety. While the rose gold model looks far dressier, the steel model can easily be worn casually and formally. The smaller 36mm model comes with a diamond-set bezel, as well.
Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic
The new Octo Finissimo Automatic Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic combines a striking aesthetic with a distinct profile that is sure to appease those looking for a masculine, modern timepiece. Measuring 40mm in diameter by a paper-thin 5.50mm in thickness, the Octo Finissimo Automatic Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic is entirely made of black ceramic. The dial is also made of matte black ceramic and has been treated to a sandblasted finish. An exceptional timepiece that reminds us that there is more to life than the Nautilus and the Royal Oak.
