A total of 22 kinds of cheese from the German powerhouse grocery store – all valued at under $10.99 – have won gold and silver gongs at the annual DIAA (Dairy Industry Association of Australia) Awards. Having held the long-time position as one of the most coveted aisles amongst ALDI lovers, the delicious cheeses have impressed even the toughest critics in the industry, taking home a staggering 4 gold awards and 17 silvers.
These are the cheese to bring to your next cheese and wine night; Gold-winners included ALDI’s Emporium Selection Brie Half Wheel for $10.99 for best cheese and ALDI’s Westacre Tasty Slice for just $3.99 for the best consumer pack. The best fresh ricotta went to ALDI’s Emporium Selection Ricotta which you can grab for $2.79, and ALDI’s Westacre Manhattan Spreadable Regular Cream Cheese won best dairy dip, just a measly $2.69 – watch out bagels.
