Naughty Abarth 695 75° Anniversario Priced for Australia

While Abarth is going full steam ahead with hotter versions of new electrified cars like the 500e and 600e, the petrol-powered 695 remains at the enthusiast heart of this Italian brand. Hence, to celebrate Abarth turning 75 years old, the brand has given itself a birthday present in the form of a racier 75° Anniversario limited edition before petrol power disappears forever.

Only 1,368 units are being made globally, and today, it’s been revealed that 75 units will be arriving on Australian shores priced at $52,695.

The model pays tribute to the 1368cc engine capacity of the feisty 1.4 T-Jet motor found under the bonnet. Here, the engine is turned up to eleven with a Garrett GT 1446 turbocharger now producing 180 HP of power and 250Nm of torque. This enables the Italian pocket rocket to sprint to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 225km/h. More importantly for petrolheads, the Record Monza exhaust with active valve continues to give a soulful soundtrack.

With this special edition, Abarth has decked out the car with its trademark Scorpion logo which covers the entire roof and pops out against the black livery thanks to the contrast with its golden body.

Elsewhere, you’ll see a generous helping of gold Abarth logos and lovely-looking 17-inch gold alloy wheels along with black Brembo aluminium callipers. Finally, the original 75° Anniversario decals in the shape of a piston head complete the changes.

Inside, Abarth hasn’t gone overboard, keeping things tasteful with a black Alcantara dashboard and the new Sabelt-specific carbon seats with 75° logo and Alcantara inserts too.

We look forward to seeing the 75 units grace our shores after they land in owners’ hands sometime soon. Again, these vehicles are available to order now through Abarth dealerships for $52,695.
