  • The new 15” espresso Pro display bumps the resolution up to 4K
  • It launched on April 15, 2025, for AU$1,099
  • Espresso’s monitor’s are famous for high build quality and single-cable functionality

Australian monitor-maker espresso has dropped its newest product – a 4K touchscreen variant of its already impressive 15” single-cable-solution portable monitor. The monitor launches on 15 April for AU$1,099, and comes with the brand’s recently revamped ‘ergonomic stand+’, allowing it to more easily increase your work space without taking up much more room on your table.

The ‘espresso Pro’ display, which already comes in 17”, allows users to connect a thin and light display to any compatible device through an included USB-C cable, which sends audio and video to the monitor as well as power.

We’ve used espresso monitors quite a bit at Man of Many, and have come away impressed by their flexibility and ease of use. With the 15” Pro model, it looks like the brand has taken the best bits of each model it has and condensed it all into a single product.

While there’s no major ‘processing’ done on the side of the monitor (you need to bring your own computer, of course), the 15” Pro does have an impressive list of features itself, including:

  • Vivid 15.6” 4K panel (3840×2160 resolution)
  • 60Hz refresh rate
  • Touchscreen functionality across both Windows and Mac
  • Aluminum chassis
  • 550 nits brightness
  • 1.07 billion colours (100 per cent Adobe RGB)
  • 2 USB-C ports with power passthrough
  • Built-in speakers
  • Ergonomic Stand+
  • 800 grams

The main selling point of espresso’s monitors is the fact that you don’t need an additional power brick in order to utilise them out in the wild. Just plug in the included USB-C to USB-C cable, and your device will recognise the second screen and start displaying.

This makes it easy to expand your workable space when not necessarily at home – something made doubly easy with the Espresso Stand+, which now allows you to position the espresso monitor ‘above’ your laptop’s display to maximise screen space without taking up much more desk space.

Honestly, if you’ve been looking for a decent 15” 4K display you can take with you on trips – personal or business – this one is absolutely worth a look.
