Spend five minutes at your local beachside establishment on a hot day, and notice just how many people are sipping on a glass of Rosé. No longer just a drink for immature palettes and bottomless brunches, eight-time Formula 1 Grand Prix winner Daniel Ricciardo has given the pink stuff the seal of approval, releasing his own Enchanté Rosé in partnership with St Hugo and his DR3 Wines label. Now, all we need is the staple “ahh, this stuff goes alright, doesn’t it?” quote from the man himself.

“My friends and I would say ‘enchanté’ instead of cheers just to sound sophisticated,” said Ricciardo. “The reality of doing this now, over a glass of Enchanté Rosé, my latest wine in partnership with St Hugo, blows my mind. I’m happy to say that the future is looking rosé and I am living my best Enchanté life.”

Priced at AUD$39.99 Enchanté Rosé is available at Dan Murphy’s nationally, and those travelling to Melbourne for the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 will have a chance to try it on the grounds at Albert Park. No shoeys!

While exact tasting notes have not been shared by the brand, Enchanté Rosé is said to be “a statement, and a bold reflection of Daniel’s magnetic and dynamic personality,” so we’d expect a medium-bodied flavour with lightly textured mouthfeel.

The design is the most eye-catching element of the wine with a striking 3D chrome rose with shimmering metallic petals helping it stand out on shelves. This is a reference to Daniel’s rose tattoo body art, which attendees of Melbourne’s Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 can get temporarily tattooed on their body to mark the release.

Like previous years, Danny Ric’s trademark smile is taking over a Dan Murphy’s store, and this time it’s Dan Murphy’s South Melbourne that will transform into Dan Murphé, “an Enchanté Rosé oasis.” Customers at this store will have the chance to win one of three sold-out, handcrafted shoé decanters of Ricciardo’s racing boot along with other exclusive prizes at the Enchanté Rosé Spin-to-Win.

Those with general admission tickets for Melbourne’s Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 can try the wine at the Enchanté Rosé immersive bar, while those in the Paddock Club will have access to the St Hugo Wine Lounge where St Hugo Chief Winemaker, Peter Munro, will be hosting “pit wall” style tastings across multiple sessions from Friday to Sunday featuring the 2024 Enchanté Rosé, 2024 St Hugo GSM, and 2015 Vetus Purum Cabernet Sauvignon.

Enchanté Rosé is available nationally at all Dan Murphy’s, including Dan Murphé South Melbourne (100 Market Street, Southbank) which we’ve linked below.
