The eagle-eyed fans quickly zoomed in on the cup and discovered that Pedro had ordered an iced quad espresso with extra ice and six shots in a venti cup. That’s right, SIX. It seems like Pedro’s love for caffeine is stronger than the force. The TikTok user perfectly summed it up, “Daddy needs his coffee every morning to carry the entire world and a fandom over his shoulders.” With nearly 400 mg of caffeine in his order, we’re pretty sure Pedro can take on the entire empire, a few Sith lords and an army of boss-level fungus zombies without batting an eyelid.
As the saying goes, ‘coffee is for closers’.
But with great caffeine comes great responsibility, and Pedro is toeing the line between energized and over-caffeinated. With 64mg of caffeine per shot of espresso, Pedro’s order packs a whopping 384mg of pure pizzazz. According to the Mayo Clinic, consuming up to 400mg of caffeine daily is safe, which means the 47-year-old is cutting it pretty close. But as the saying goes, ‘coffee is for closers’. And Pascal has been seriously closing lately.

While the Chilean has already captured our hearts with his roles in Game of Thrones, Narcos, and Wonder Woman, he has skyrocketed to even greater heights of fame with his latest gig in The Last of Us, which held its season 1 finale earlier this week. Playing the role of Joel, a gritty survivor fighting through the zombie apocalypse with the help of young Ellie (played by Bella Ramsay), Pedro has shown that he’s not just a pretty face but a badass zombie-slaying heartthrob.
The HBO TV series has been breaking records left and right since its premiere in January, with the latest episode racking up a staggering 8.2 million views.
