Last night, on the 30th of January, luxury fashion brand Dior launched their first ever Kim Jones collection in a Sydney pop-up store wholly dedicated to the SS 2019 line. Upon entry, you’ll be graced by a giant BFF figure designed by the iconic New York artist Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS.
Inside the store, you’ll also find fashion pieces boasting the logo reworked by KAWS himself, along with neon whites, raw concrete and an overall clean industrial look, which as defined by Kim Jones, is a response to the new urbanity of the Dior man.
Attending the launch were guests including iconic models Nicole Trunfio and Sarah Ellen, artist Jamie Preisz, musicians Didirri, Beaker Best from Sticky Fingers, David Novak and John-Henry Pajak from The Polish Club, Kim Churchill and many more. The pop-up boutique will be open until 31st March 2019, at 67 Castlereagh Street, Sydney
