Expected to be one of the key releases of the new line-up, the mallard shaped bag is the latest three-dimensional offering from LV since their NBA inspired ‘Ball in a Basket’ bag made waves in June.

Minimal information about the NIGO 2 drop has been uncovered, with official details scheduled for November. However, following the success of the Japanese creative’s 2020 capsule with the artistic director of LV menswear, Virgil Abloh – our ambitions are sky-high. As for pricing, this duck monogram bag is expected to retail for around USD$4,500 (AUD$6,200).
It’s been a year of momentous moves for the BAPE founder, with LVMH recently announcing NIGO as the artistic director of Maison Kenzo, effective September 20, 2021. “Kenzo san’s approach to creating originality was through his understanding of many different cultures. It is also the essence of my own philosophy of creativity. Inheriting the spirit of Kenzo san’s craftsmanship to create a new Kenzo is the greatest challenge of my 30-year career, which I intend to achieve together with the team”, said Nigo in an LVMH press release.
