Prospex Automatic Divers SRPF35K
If your jaw dropped a little, we don’t blame you. That’s because this special edition Asia exclusive Prospex diver’s watch is a veritable showstopper. Even if the yellow dial face and striking colour combination isn’t up your alley, a powerful impression has been rendered. Even after 55 years, Seiko’s Prospex range still knows how to make a splash. When the diver’s watch first debuted in 1965, it set revolutionary benchmarks for legibility and craftsmanship alike. With each new addition, the legacy lives on.
That brings us to the SPB153J and its unmistakable profile. The unique placement of the crown and girthy steel case imparts an almost avant-garde sensibility, prompting double-takes. Then we have the glorious green colour of the dial face, which will draw stares of its own. Thanks to Lumibrite, the hands and markers take on a signature glow under the cloak of darkness.
Water-resistant to 200m, the SPB153J runs on Seiko’s own 6R35 Calibre, an automatic movement with an impressive 70-hour power reserve. You can wind that movement with the motion of your wrist or use the screw-down crown. The men’s watch is protected by sapphire glass and affixed to a black strap of sleek silicon. If you can afford one, get one.

Seiko’s beloved Alpinist range provides the aesthetic foundations for this premium Prospex watch. It cranks serious sophistication out of a classic dial display, upon which Arabic-like numerals align with dagger indices and a distinguished three-hand indicator revolving under sapphire glass against a textural backdrop.
Like the SPB153J, this model comes powered by the brand’s own self-winding 6R35 Calibre.
