BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon Hope
BALL has joined The Pink Dial Project, a week-long auction that features unique timepieces all in the name of paying tribute to the breast cancer awareness movement. The watch in question is the BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon Hope, one of the watchmaker’s namesake pieces. It features a soft and subtle pink dial encased in 36mm of stainless steel along with 18 micro gas tubes on the dial and hands, ensuring legibility no matter of the lighting environment.
Zenith Chronomaster Original + Diamonds
Zenith has brought forward its infamous Chronomaster Original and has endowed it with a diamond shower. The end result is a beautifully proportioned mechanical timepiece that marries the worlds of traditional watchmaking with high-end jewellery. The two models are both delicate in nature and in stature. Both feature diamonds on the lugs and in place of the hour indices, where the first model features a soft blue aesthetic, and the other a darker grey aesthetic.
Zenith x Time & Tide
The well-known Australia watch blog Time & Tide has teamed up with Zenith to create the brand new ‘Night Surfer’ limited edition piece. Based on the super contemporary Defy Classic foundation, the new ‘Night Surfer’ features a beautiful and svelte micro-blasted titanium case, a stunning openworked dial with blue highlights on the bridges, along with a Zenith star logo made of solid Super-Luminova. Congratulations guys, this is an amazing piece!
Chopard Mille Miglia Bamford Edition
From Chopard we have the new Mille Miglia Bamford Edition, made in collaboration with George Bamford. The piece in question features a 42mm bead-blasted DLC stainless steel case, orange highlights on the dark grey dial and a COSC certified chronograph movement. The limited edition 1-of-33 pieces Mille Miglia Bamford Edition is a lovely rendition of a tried and true classic.
H. Moser & Cie Heritage Dual Time
Featuring H. Moser & Cie’s new HMC 809 automatic movement with a dual time function, the new Heritage Dual Time is a beautiful balance of old-school aesthetics meeting modern technologies. From the rich burgundy dial to the cathedral-like hands and numerals, the Heritage Dual Time is a fantastically prominent, loud and characteristically individual timepiece. It’s eccentric all the while being subtle and inconspicuous to the untrained eye. Certainly not a piece for everyone, I absolutely love it!
