…and for the Australia Day Long Weekend.
If you love beer, and reckon that Dave Grohl’s a bit of a mad dog, then you’ll definitely want to get in on this action. Iconic Surry Hills stalwart The Hollywood Hotel is being transformed from 4pm today into “Foo Fighters Hotel”, where local brewers Young Henrys will be pouring out tasty tipples of their limited-edition collaboration brew “Foo Town Lager”, as well as slinging some rare merch from the project, which is guaranteed to sell out quick smart.
Young Henrys co-founder and generally top bloke Oscar McMahon says: “Getting a call to say the Foo Fighters want to brew a beer with Young Henrys was huge for us. We’re also stoked for our mates DZ Deathrays, who are joining them on tour again. It’s thanks to working with local legends like them that we’ve got the opportunity to brew a beer with one of the world’s best known rock bands.”
The pop-up continues until Saturday the 27th, when it will move down to Melbourne’s world-famous Cherry Bar until the 30th.
