Sir Richard Branson himself blessed the shores of Bondi Beach this morning to take part in a specially curated Reformer Pilates class for the launch of the mammoth new 8 storey Virgin Active Health Club which opens in Bondi Junction this month.
Sweating away in the morning sun, Branson eluded “I’ve always valued the positive outlook on life, wellbeing and adventure that Australians are famous for and that’s what Virgin Active is all about – finding that sweet spot between exercise and play. It’s been a great morning down in Bondi. Cruising the waves with the wonderful Bondi Rescue and Surf Lifesaving teams and taking part in a Virgin Active Reformer Pilates class overlooking the stunning beach is a moment I won’t forget.”
The new Virgin Active club members have access to a gym, and five boutique-style classes each in their own purpose-built studios including Boxing, Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Cycle, and the Virgin Active HIIT programme Grid Training. This all comes with online booking to reserve your favourite spot in the class before you done your ozone cleaned boxing gloves or cycle shoes waiting for you on arrival.
Bondi Junction Virgin Active will be open on 25 November with a 12-month membership available for $37 a week with no joining fees. For more details on the club or to sign-up visit VirginActive.com.au.
