Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation Partners with Semi Permanent and Vivid

As the official charitable partner of the Vivid festival, the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) recently announced an exciting partnership with multidisciplinary artist Kris Andrew-Small and designer Dani Wolf to create a unique digital artwork as part of the creative conference Semi Permanent and Vivid in 2022.

Opening  Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, visitors to Semi Permanent will be able to be fully immersed in the digital installation, which measures 4 metres tall and 80 metres wide with digital screens and graphics by Kris and voiceover by proud Whadjuk Noongar man and model Nathan Maguire. Mixing movement and messaging this projection at Carriageworks reinforces ALNF’s core belief – that literacy is freedom, and the oversized type comes together to weave a story of how vital literacy is to every community and every child.
