15 Best Cafes in Parramatta

The best Parramatta cafes include MISC, Homage Specialty Coffee, and Circa Espresso. However, our team of editors have tried and tested every one of the cafes below, confirming that all are exploding with flavours while bringing something unique and tasty to Sydney’s Western suburbs. In many ways, Parramatta is becoming somewhat of a Western Sydney ‘Surry Hills’ with amazing coffee on every corner, but we’d argue the Middle Eastern influence is the ingredient that takes these cafes above and beyond your average smashed avo.

1. MISC. Parramatta

A big cafe with a big heart, MISC takes up perhaps one of the best locations in all of Parramatta, perched in a sun-lit shed-turned-restaurant nestled within a leafy park near the Parramatta River. The menu is designed to share, and there is a definite Middle Eastern influence, with plenty of pita, hommus and labneh to accompany the many fresh seafood options. We can’t go past the cilbir eggs with cacik, pumpkin, aleppo brown butter, seeds and focaccia.
