Desserts in Sydney FAQs
Some of Sydney’s most popular dessert spots keep the ovens (and waffle irons) running well into the night. Bay Vista in Parramatta is open past midnight most days, and places like Kürtősh, Sir Braxton and KOI Dessert Bar also stay open late.
Of course! Plenty of Sydney dessert bars offer vegan-friendly treats. Anita Gelato has a great selection of dairy-free flavours, and places like C9 Chocolate & Gelato and Gelato Messina usually have vegan options on rotation. Just check the display or menu for icons and ask staff if you’re unsure.
Whether you’re after a whole cake or just something extra special, venues like Black Star Pastry, KOI, and Pasticceria Papa are popular for birthdays and celebrations. Gelato Messina also does elaborate ice cream cakes that are perfect for events. Most places let you pre-order online or in-store.
