Welcome back to The Wind Up, our weekly series where we feature the latest watch releases of the last week. In this week’s instalment we’ll be featuring some of the latest watches from the likes of TAG Heuer, A. Lange & Söhne, Chopard and Richard Mille. Enjoy gents!
TAG Heuer Connected x Super Mario
TAG Heuer has teamed up in what is to be a long-term collaboration with Nintendo, and so to celebrate this collaborative partnership, it has released a limited edition smartwatch featuring one of the world’s most recognisable characters, Mario! This limited edition piece features Mario in all depictions, whether on the move running and jumping, or playing sports like golf and tennis, Mario’s influence on this particular Connected model will always be apparent. Very cool stuff.
A. Lange & Söhne Releases Three New Pieces
A. Lange & Söhne has released three amazing new timepieces, each in its own right a superior example of the German watchmaker’s propensity for the absurd, the extravagant and the complex. The first is the Cabaret Tourbillon Handwerkskunst, a stunning piece that undoubtedly appeals from multiple angles. The second is the Langematik Perpetual, another exemplary timepiece that is as functional as it is beautiful. And the third is the Saxonia Thin, crafted in pink gold and coupled with a solid-silver dial coated with blue gold flux. Amazing.
Panerai Celebrates Partnership With Two New Models
To celebrate its partnership with brand ambassador Jimmy Chin, renowned photographer, alpinist, filmmaker and environmentalist, Panerai has unveiled two very special timepieces. The first is the Submersible Chrono Flyback – J. Chin Edition, and the second is the Submersible Chrono Flyback – J. Chin Xperience Edition. As you may have guessed, the second model comes with a very special add-on, an excursion spanning several days with Jimmy Chin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where they’ll partake in a variety of outdoor adventures as well as joining him in his favourite dining destinations.
Richard Mille RM 029 Automatic Le Mans Classic
New from Richard Mille is the RM 029 Automatic Le Mans Classic. This is a phenomenal piece, marking the next instalment of the infamous Le Mans Classic race. Crafted from a solid block of white Quartz TPT offset by front and black bezels in green Quarta TPT, the new RM 029 Automatic Le Mans Classic looks and feels every bit of a typical Richard Mille piece.
Bell & Ross BR 03-94 Patrouille De France
Bell & Ross has just equipped the pilots of the patrouille de France with its latest and greatest, the BR 03-94 Patrouille De France. Featuring an aesthetic that is as distinct as it is subtle, the new BR 03-94 Patrouille De France was created in close unison with the pilots of the patrouille de France and was made in a limited run of only 500 pieces with the dial portraying the insignia of the patrouille de France.
