Your Uncle Ben probably still won’t let you go to Toshi Station to pick up some power converters until you finish cleaning up the new droids, but you won’t mind when you’re staying at Twelve Parsecs, a Star Wars themed AirBNB near Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction. The nine bedroom house offers 17 beds and 5 bathrooms. The first item on your itinerary if you choose to be here will be to search out and find the 16 movie “Easter eggs” hidden throughout the house.
The rooms are themed based on key parts of the Star Wars saga. Rooms include Cloud City, Alderaan, Hoth, Tatooine, Mustafar, Dagobah, and Endor. There are also spaceship themed rooms—like the Imperial bunkroom and the Ti Fighter room. The walls of the room all are decorated with hand-painted murals and feature 3D custom-moulded objects and beds. “Wake up in a swamp lush with vines, an ice bed, or a pod racer, placing you right in the scenes from your favourite movie series,” reads the listing. “Then brush your teeth in one of five character-themed bathrooms from rebels to your favourite robots. Fuel up for your theme park adventures in the full kitchen, with all the appliances and plenty of countertop space.” The house also boasts access to the Champions Gate Oasis resort with its own water park, two golf courses, a splash pad, a game room, and a theatre. Best of all, you won’t have to barter and deal with Jabba to get a good deal. The house rents at reasonable rates depending on the time of year. At one point, you could get this Star Wars themed AirBNB for US$642.35 a night—that’s just $40 per night for each guest if there are 16 of you! At that price you can definitely afford those power converters.
