Sometimes we get a little complacent with our tech. The amount of power and capability in your Apple iPhone and Watch is often forgotten about and rarely used for anything other than doom-scrolling your Instagram feed or sending a few texts to mates. In our ongoing quest to help you get the most out of your tech, we’ve recently highlighted the best wireless chargers that give you access to the new ‘StandBy Mode’, and today we’re looking at this epic little magnifying Apple Watch alarm clock.
It’s called the NightWatch (US$59) and is currently available through our friends over at Huckberry. This takes advantage of the ‘Nightstand Mode’ on your Apple Watch which can be turned on through the settings General > Nightstand Mode, then turn on Nightstand Mode. From there you simply leave the watch on charge and you’re in business, tap or nudge the watch and it’ll display the time.

What we’re looking at is essentially a magnifying glass made from polished lucite that turns your device from a smartwatch to a bedside clock. Most importantly, it still utilises all the touch features, and wireless charging, and even includes a sound chamber to amplify the alarm so you won’t miss it.
In terms of compatibility, it works with all Apple Watch series (including 7) but isn’t compatible with Apple Watch Ultra due to the size of the watch. You can get your hands on the NightWatch right now through Huckberry at the link below and it’s priced at a very fair US$59.
