Adidas Ultraboost Golf Shoes are Your New Swingin’ Sole-Mate

Need kicks for the green but don’t want to tear up the clubhouse with fairway spikes? Well, adidas has just unveiled its Ultraboost Golf Shoes, and let us tell you, these bad boys are a game-changer. Inspired by the original Ultraboost silhouette unveiled in 2015, this version is set to offer golf-specific features that’ll elevate your game to new heights.
With three distinct styles and two limited-edition colourways, you’ll look the part and feel like a pro. Priced at a cool AUD$260, these shoes come with some golf-specific updates that’ll have you looking slick on any course you visit. Think rubber lugs for traction, a reinforced PRIMEKNIT upper with hydrophobic yarn, and an anti-slip sock liner. Performance, meet style.
Masun Denison, director of global footwear at adidas Golf, said, “At the heart of Ultraboost is a silhouette that perfectly blends high-performance with streetwear fashion, and that’s something we wanted to bring to the course.” He added that the design team took their time to “only add pieces that would benefit golfers while still keeping the DNA that makes this shoe so great.”

To celebrate Ultraboost’s grand entrance into golf, adidas is launching two limited-edition colourways – the legendary OG black and purple as a tribute to the first Ultraboost and an all-grey version with pops of green. A special silver/olive colourway will be available exclusively on adidas.com for adiClub members from April 13. All colourways will be offered in unisex sizing.
But wait, there’s more, as adidas is stepping up its environmental game, crafting these beauties in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. That’s right, not only will you be rocking some sweet kicks, but you’ll also be helping to end plastic waste – now that’s a hole-in-one! With 50 per cent Parley Ocean Plastic yarn and 50 per cent recycled polyester in the upper, you’ll be making a statement in more ways than one.
