Raymond Weil Freelancer GMT Worldtimer

New from Raymond Weil is the Freelancer GMT Worldtimer. From a watchmaker whose premise is to make affordable mechanical watches, I think that the new Raymond Weil Freelancer GMT Worldtimer is a brilliant little bit of kit that is right on the money. I love its facade, the functionality of the world time and GMT complications and the two colour options (being green and black). This is a particularly interesting model in that it combines two travel-friendly complications, all the while being super wearable and highly practical. Awesome stuff!

Vacheron Constantin Métiers d’Art Year of the Rabbit

Vacheron Constantin celebrates the Year of the Rabbit with two very beautiful timepieces. The first is encased in platinum and the second in pink gold, both featuring the Chinese zodiac animal in the centre of the dial by way of a hand-engraved rabbit matching their respective case materials. The models both feature Vacheron Constantin‘s interesting calibre 2460 G4, which displays the hours, minutes, days and date in apertures around the dial. Beautiful stuff from one of Vacheron Constantin’s most creative arms.

NOMOS Glashütte Ludwig 33 Noir

NOMOS Glashütte is positioned as one of the best affordable mechanical watchmakers in the world. This particular model measures 33mm in diameter, features a black dial contrasted by golden-coloured hands and comes strapped to an anthracite velour leather strap. But perhaps the most astounding fact is that within this AUD2,610 piece lies a true manufacture movement in the manually wound calibre Alpha, a stunning piece of mechanical engineering that is even more impressive under a loupe.
