The NFL is hosting the first official watch party for the Super Bowl in Australia on a SEADECK Cruise around Sydney Harbour. Without a shadow of a doubt, this will be the best place to watch the teams fight for glory, but you’ll have to get in quickly with a limited capacity of 400 people. Tickets cost $229 per person and include 5-hour admission so it’s not a great option for the budget-conscious, however, there’s plenty to take in with 13 screens, American-style food, partner activations and giveaways, live DJ, photo opportunity with Vince Lombardi trophy, and you even get your very own Super Bowl Mitchell & Ness heritage t-shirt to take home.

2. Taphouse, Darlinghurst

The newly updated Taphouse in Darlinghurst is going to be one of the best places to watch the Superbowl in Sydney this year. They’re putting a twist on your average watch part with $30 dim sum platters paired with the best American beers: $8 bottles of Coors Light (4x bottle for $25, 6x bottles for $36). You’ll want to get your bookings in early as people flock to this spo. The doors open from 10am on Monday, 12th February.

3. Forresters

A favourite of the team here at Man of Many, Forrester’s opens its doors at 9:30 am for an early morning pre-game session before the big game. Multiple TVs around the bar will be playing the game, and there’s a seriously tasty special offer on the day. For $48pp, Forry’s Super Bowl Viewing Party package will get you a Coors Light beer on arrival, Buffalo wings, hotdog and chips at half-time. But wait, there’s more. How about 4 x Coors Light beers for an additional $25 or 6 beers for $36.

This one is for you diehard NFL fans. If you want to watch the Super Bowl LVIII live, large and loud then the Star Casino’s 24/7 Sports Bar is the place to be. We had a chance to hang out last year, and with over 50 TVs and a massive 36 square metre mega screen, you’ll be spoilt for choice for the big game. If you’re feeling adventurous there’s the annual Hotdog Eating Competition, live entertainment, special guests, and beverage specials. This is THE place to be in Sydney, and walk-ins are welcome.

Arguably the best place to watch the Superbowl if you’re around Newtown, The Marly is putting on a feat for gridiron fans on Monday from 9am. The Shelbourne Hotel is one of the best places in Sydney CBD to watch the NFL Super Bowl each year. Be warned, it’s always at total capacity, but the sell-out crowd is packed with NFL fans dying to watch on the big projector screens. Specials on the day include;  $15 Bowls of Hot Wings, $15 Bad Ass Bloody Mary Cocktails, $25 Beer Jugs, and $35 Corona Buckets. With one of the best beer gardens in all of Sydney, there really isn’t a better place to have a Monday morning hootenanny. Doors open from 9 am on Monday, so head on inside the infamous Selinas and watch it live and loud on the big screen. The CBH is running free general admission for the Super Bowl, however, there aren’t any food and drink packages available. Expect some of the best chicken wings in Sydney and a plethora of classic American eats including hot dogs.

For those American Football fans north of the bridge, you really can’t go past the Hotel Steyne in Manly. The beer’s cold, the crowd’s flaring and the screen is enormous. Be sure to get down early to secure a spot and catch the official NFL Trophy fresh in from the USA as it’s showcased (alongside some security guards). After the game, we recommend heading across the esplanade to the beach for a sober-up swim.

If you work in the city and are looking for a cheeky place to catch the game on the commute in – you can’t go past Hotel Harry’s. Established in 1912, this joint has seen a lot of debauchery in its tenure at the edge of Surry Hills but a recent renovation took things up a level. We’re sure Super Bowl Monday will be no different, with a range of beers alongside a hall-of-fame menu that includes a breakfast burrito, hot wings, and KC BBQ Roll. This is as authentic as Super Bowl venues get in Sydney.
