Love it or hate it, you have to respect KFC Australia’s commitment to pairing some perplexing food combinations in the name of fun and calories. 2024’s ‘The Original Crispery’ pop-up in Sydney brought fried PB&J sandwiches, fluffy fried cheesecake, green chips, and more. While the ‘Waffle Double’ swapped the wholesome bun with two slabs of chicken together for one giant grease ball, they know how to get fried.

Today, KFC is bringing back its sold-out Fried Cookie Dough. It will be available for a limited time only in restaurants around Australia from Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

If you’re wondering what’s inside, it’s exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough fried to perfection. How much? KFC Fried Cookie Dough is available in three pieces for $2.95, six pieces for $5.95, or as part of the Complete Treat, which includes a Zinger Burger, two pieces of Hot & Crispy, three pieces of Fried Cookie Dough, chips, potato and gravy, and a drink.

The last time we tried these, they got the team stamp of approval. Some of the team said they tasted like “Nutella protein balls,” and others said they tasted like “Chicken stuffing, but chocolate.” Meanwhile, the negative reviews from the team said they’re “Flavourless.”

There’s not much else to say about this dough-licious treat.
