It’s time to spread your mental wings and attempt to locate this little conspicuous butterfly hiding in his optical illusion. So far, you guys have loved attempting to spot the empty mug and spot the daisy, but today we turn our attention to everyone’s favourite fluttering insect. If you can spot it in 11 seconds you could be the new record holder, according to Jargan Josh, who posted the puzzle. So have a crack down below before it flies away.

The image above shows a tree branch with several small green leaves and flowering buds, but somewhere in the picture is a hidden butterfly. What makes this task difficult is how well camouflaged the butterfly is among all the leaves and flowers. So are you ready to break the record? Whip out the stopwatch and put yourself to the test.

If you’re still struggling, jargon Josh dished out a few hints to help. They said: “Try looking from top to bottom to observe any variation in the picture. It is right in front of you if you carefully observe the picture.”

Were you able to catch it in time? If you look at the image below, we show the answer. As you can see, the butterfly was hiding in plain sight, smack bang in the middle of the snap. Not an easy puzzle, the butterfly’s wings look almost exactly the same as leaves.
