The James Brand Primer Gray Collection Offers Four EDCs

The James Brand creates some of the best every day carries that you can find. Their knives are always of the highest quality—and they look good too. Now they’re making four of their most popular knives available in a new color. The Primer Gray Collection consists of the Ellis, the Carter, the Elko, and the Folsom.

The Ellis is the James Brand’s “daily workhorse.” Featuring a lock back design that saves your knuckles when turning screws, the Ellis comes with a partially serrated drop point blade, a combination bottle opener and screwdriver, the James Brand’s “All Things” scraper and pry, and a bail loop so that you can add this tool to your key chain, a carabiner, or your backpack.

If you’re looking for a knife that combines brawn and beauty, then you’ll be pleased with the Carter. Made of a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel, the Carter features a slide-lock mechanism and has fully-profiled G10 or Micarta scales. The deep-carry, reversible pocket clip lets you comfortably carry this knife. The Carter is fully ambidextrous and can be easily used one-handed thanks to the thumb disc design.

The Elko is all about keeping things small. The knife measures only 4.33 inches when extended, but its compact stainless steel blade is more than up to any task. It also comes with a pry bar that doubles as a key ring, bottle opener, screwdriver, and pry tool. Add this to you keyring to be ready for anything anywhere.

The final knife in the collection is the Folsom. The slim scales and steel liner lock make the Folsom a joy to carry. It has an ambidextrous blade opening slot and features a reversible clip. The drop point blade makes it useful for many functions. The knife also features a tip-up carry.

Both the Ellis and the Folsom sell for $99, while the Elko retails at $60. The Carter is the most expensive of the collection, coming in at $139. The entire collection is available through the James Brand’s web site.
