Win a Custom FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser for Your Next Off-Road Adventure!

When brothers Nelson and Jaun Diego Calle, founders of the FJ Company, take on a project, they get down into the tiniest of details. The newest prize being offered as an Omaze drawing is a prime example of what they do. The Custom FJ40 Toyota Land Cruiser is an impressive work of restoration, and the proceeds go to a worthy cause.

For FJ Company, every project starts with the donor car getting a full frame-off restoration. FJ Company also uses only steel body parts, steering away from aftermarket aluminium parts. Assembly of these projects sees the car going from the raw stage to finalised details on everything from the chassis and engine, to the interior and exterior, including any accessories that attach to the Land Cruiser. After a test assembly, the vehicle is taken back apart and then sent to paint. Parts that are replaced come from Toyota, and the list of new parts includes a fair portion of the engine, rubber seals, electrical components, and glass.

The custom FJ40 being offered by Omaze seats five and is done in Cadet Blue for the outside and Saddle for the inside. The engine is a 4.0-litre supercharged 1GR-FE V6 that produces 300 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The Land Cruiser comes with RECARO Specialist heated seats, rigid LED headlights and fog lights, a Warn winch, modern FJ Co. gauges, and a custom A/C and heating system. The rig is also updated with a reverse camera and screen display as well as a new FJ70 suspension and a jerrycan mounted on the back. As you can imagine, it’s not an inexpensive process to put together a custom project like this. Normally, this kind of a restoration would cost $242,750.

Getting this custom FJ40 is as simple as entering into the drawing—and winning it, of course. But even if your name isn’t drawn, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your entry fee went to support the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. This hospital is a leader in treating childhood conditions and diseases. UPMC approaches their care in much the same way as the Calle brothers, and your help goes a long way in providing that attention.
