Already synonymous with the best in audio gear, Marshall is getting into the active noise cancellation game. More to the point, the ubiquitous audio brand has just released their new Mid ANC headphones. In addition to offering steadfast noise cancellation–which dampens environmental sound to deliver a truly immersive sonic experience–the headphones employ Bluetooth aptX technology for up to 20 hours of wireless playtime…and that’s just when noise cancellation is engaged. Switch off the ANC and the headphones can last over 30 hours, no strings (i.e. wires) attached.
To achieve the utmost in immersion, the Marshall Mid ANC utilises four built-in microphones for measuring and isolating external sound, thereby blocking out the things you don’t want to hear and leaving in the things you do. As for the sonics, the headphones come equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers for powerful, balanced audio and the perfect amount of bass.
Touting an open-ear design, the Marshall Mid ANC features black anodised metal detailing and a headband wrapped in soft, plush microfibre. Thanks to freely rotating 3D metal hinges, the headphones deliver adjustability and ergonomics in equal measure. To drive home its luxurious allure, the Mid ANC comes in a guitar-themed travel case with velvet lining and a sturdy, collapsible shell. Open the case up and look for the brass-plated Marshall logo, a signifier of quality since 1962.
