Minor II is the second outing for Marshall’s slim earphones, yet it’s the first time we’ve introduced them to Man of Many’s readers. The original Minor in-ear-headphones first released back in 2011. Now its back with some serious upgrades. Classic Marshall cues include brass detailing and the iconic Marshall script. The rubberised finish provides roadworthy durability, so Minor II is in it for the long haul.
The wireless Minor II earphones feature custom-tuned 14.2 mm dynamic drivers to produce rich highs, crisp mids and clear, balanced bass. Marshall says the in-ear design provides just the right amount of noise isolation, while still allowing you to hear your surroundings. An adjustable loop offers a personally optimised and ergonomic fit engineered to stay in place and feel comfortable throughout the day.
Other features include a microphone and a multi-directional control knob to answer phone calls and control the music. Minor II offers 12 hours of wireless playtime on a single charge. A quick 20-minute charge gives the battery two hours of playtime. Two hours will charge the battery to full.
When the earphones are not in use, or if you want to pause the music quickly, connect the magnetic earbuds together around your neck. Once connected, Minor II goes into a low-energy standby mode that will completely shut down after six hours of non-use.
Marshall’s Minor has made its triumphant return. You can currently find these little guys on the Marshall website linked below. They go for AUD $159. There are 3 colours to choose from.
