The 2025 Leon Bridges Australia tour marks the sixth time the Texan singer-songwriter has made his way Down Under, with the upcoming shows representing his first since 2022. That exhibition, entitled ‘The Boundless Tour’, saw Bridges perform eight shows across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in a series of medium-sized venues. This time around, the contemporary R&B star has increased the capacity for each performance, with the upcoming tour set to be his biggest Australian showing so far.

Bridges will kick off the tour with a massive show at Brisbane’s iconic Riverstage on Friday 17 January, before making his way to the ICC Sydney Theatre and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl. He is also set to make stops at some of the country’s most spectacular wineries, including Bowral’s Centennial Vineyards and Geelong’s Mt Duneed Estate, for A Day on the Green.

The new announcement comes just days before the official release of Bridges’ highly anticipated album, simply titled Leon. Hitting stores on 4 October 2024, Leon sees the contemporary artist unfurl his “most poignant, powerful, and personal body of work to date”. According to the artist, the 13-track release arrives six years in the making and is inspired by the “memories of the people and places that shaped him”.

Leon Bridges’ Australian tour is being helmed by national entertainment company Frontier Touring, the same company responsible for the upcoming Luke Combs tour. Frontier is also serving as the exclusive pre-sale option for the entire five-date run, with tickets available to Frontier Members starting Wednesday, 2 October, at 9am local time. For the general public, tickets will go on sale Friday, 4 October at 11am local time.

Multi-award-winning artist Leon Bridges will be joined by Glass Beams, the project of Indian-Australian musician Rajan Silva, as a special guest in Brisbane, Bowral and Mt Duneed. Additionally, London-based underground favourites Los Bitchos will be on hand for the Melbourne and Sydney shows, with Maple Glider joining the A Day on the Green festivities.
