Friends has been around for 25 years, and LEGO is celebrating the group with a LEGO set. The 1070-piece set rebuilds the Central Perk coffee shop down to the last detail. You’ll find the orange couch and the flowers in a vase on the coffee table, as well as 15 coffee cups, a newspaper, plastic bagels, and a “reserved” sign. The set also includes an armchair and a cookie jar complete with two cookies lust h menu board. There are even two set lights overhead as a nod to the TV show.
You’ll also be able to build the coffee machine behind the counter.
And of course the set comes with minfigures of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Phoebe, and even the shop barista Gunther. Each comes with their own prop: Ross has a newspaper that has a headline that references one of the episodes, Rachel can serve coffee on her tray, Monica has a muffin, Joey still won’t share from his pizza box, Chandler has a laptop, Phoebe can entertain the group with a rousing rendition of “Smelly Cat” on her guitar, and Gunther has a broom.

LEGO also did a pretty job with the appearance of the characters, from Ross’s expression to Rachel’s hair. The clothes are all pretty accurate to those worn on the show. The characters don’t have to just hang out inside the shop either. The exterior is dressed to resemble Central Perk, complete with the window decal and the green siding with a red and white awning.
The set was created by French designer Aymeric Fievet, who shared, “The challenge was to visualise passages of the series to allow me to recreate the furniture and the characters in as much detail as possible. The assembly of his model took me about a week after finding the necessary references. During the voting period, the set was changed several times.”
The Friends LEGO Set, set number 21319, is available September 1, 2019, for USD$60.
