Happy New Year gents, and welcome to the first edition of the Wind Up for 2022! In this instalment, we’ll be opening the year with some amazing new watches from Omega, Piaget and Zenith. Enjoy gents!
Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321
Ushering in the new year, Omega has unveiled its 18k Canopus Gold encased Speedmaster Calibre 321. Celebrating the 65th anniversary since the first Speedmaster Mark CK2915-1, the new Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 is a modern interpretation of a generational legend and a stylistic icon.
Piaget Altiplano “Year Of The Tiger”
To celebrate the Chinese zodiac “Year of the Tiger”, Piaget has created yet another masterpiece based on the super desirable Altiplano platform. This particular piece features a cloisonné grand feu enamel dial crafted by master-enameller Anita Porchet depicting a tiger, with a case made of white gold and set with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds.
Zenith Chronomaster Revival Lupin The Third
The third and final edition of Zenith’s collaboration with Japanese manga and anime series Lupin the Third is a stunning combination of the watchmaker’s two previous special editions. It features a dial split quite divisively in the middle, where on the left there is a semi-glossy black dial with counters and golden markers and hands from the first edition, and on the right it has a creamy-white dial with contrasting black counters inspired by the second edition. Definitely one for the ages.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Naomi Osaka Limited Edition
TAG Heuer continues its partnership with the legendary tennis star Naomi Osaka with the new Aquaracer Naomi Osaka Limited Edition. Featuring a green wavy dial, a matching green rubber strap and the durable exterior of the Aquaracer, the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Naomi Osaka Limited Edition also features hour markers made from diamonds, as well as a caseback emblazoned with a teddy bear holding a flower, Naomi Osaka’s favourite emblem.
