Over the past decade, luxury fashion labels have been able to reposition their garments as premium outdoor garb and collaborations like that which Zegna has just launched are a big reason why. The Italian luxury brand has just unveiled its AW22 Outdoor Collection, finessed with accessories crafted in partnership with some of the most esteemed names in sport and performance. Including La Sportiva, Garmin, ZAI, TSL, Sigg and KASK. The new AW22 Outdoor Collection continues ZEGNA’s vision to meld its heritage of fine fabrics with the demands of the great outdoors.

Crafted from a host of technical textiles and imbued with practical details for ease, the collection is designed to withstand the elements, providing what Zegan calls “uncompromising functionality” for the modern explorer. Inside, you’ll find a full wardrobe that includes outwear, knitwear, jersey underpinnings, technical sweaters as well as trousers making it a complete solution for outdoor living.
The collection is also finessed with accessories crafted in partnership with LaSportiva, Garmin, ZAI, TSL, Sigg and KASK. These include TXTopGTX Boots which was developed with LaSportiva. The boot has water-repellent mesh uppers set on a durable Vibram sole, making them ideal for mountaineering and traversing off-road trails. In partnership with TSL, Zegna has also created ergonomic Ski Poles with a convenient folding system as well as the Symbioz Hyper flex Original 2 snow shoes. Which have been engineered for absolute comfort with superior grip and shock absorbance.

With ZAI the collaboration resulted in the creation of high-performance Skis crafted with Power Rail technology. While with Swiss label Sigg’s time-honoured expertise meets ZEGNA’s refined style in an aluminium water bottle that is finished with ZEGNA’s iconic 232 road Brand Mark. ZEGNA’s collaboration with KASK resulted in the matte Piuma Ski Helmet. Which features an anti-fog double-lens visor and leather chin strap and is finished with the ZEGNA 232 road Brand Mark.
ZEGNA also turned to the innovative GPS technology of Garmin for the Venu 2 Plus Smartwatch. Which is hallmarked with the ZEGNA232 road Brand Mark and is programmed with health, payment and safety features that are indispensable on the ski slopes. ZEGNA’s Second Outdoor Collection For AW22 will be available from October 27 via Zegna’s international retail network on Zegna.com and at selected wholesalers.
