Immerse Yourself in Spookiness at Barangaroo’s Spirit Ghost Tours
If you’re looking for a culturally enriching experience located not far from Sydney’s city, head down to Spirit Ghost Tours in Barangaroo Reserve next week. Running from Tuesday 24 October to Saturday 28 October, come along to a spine-tingling, fun night filled with stories of ancient spirits and creatures of the Dreamtime.
The tour begins with a cleansing ceremony that will alert the spirits of your presence and acknowledge them and their ancestry at Barangaroo. Next stop will be Nawi Cove to connect with the Water Spirits of Birra (Sydney Harbour). Finally, the tour ends with a gathering around the sandstone fire pit where everyone will share their own spooky stories while also acknowledging Barangaroo’s Goomedah (spirit).

The Social Serve will also support Rally4Ever, an Australian charity using tennis as a way to engage communities and tackle mental health challenges in society. All profits from the raffle will be donated to charity, so there’s all the more reason to enjoy a few cocktails in the sun!
Finally, they’re introducing Pickleball, the fastest-growing racquet sport in America. All tickets include the chance to sign up to the social Pickleball competition during the day.
Sydney Harbours Spidey Senses Tingle
To mark the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5, a striking event has unfolded at Sydney Harbour. A truck appears to have been miraculously saved, suspended in mid-air by intricate webs.
This breathtaking installation, known as the Spectacular Save, will be on full display s at Watermans Cove from today until 4 PM on Sunday, October 22. Visitors have the unique opportunity to be part of the excitement by posing for photos, creating an illusion as if they themselves rescued the truck. And for those who venture to the site after dark, there might be a surprise waiting, courtesy of a notorious villain from the Marvel universe…

Starlight Children’s Foundation and Amazon Australia Release Top 100 Holiday Toy List
Amazon Australia has today revealed its highly anticipated Top 100 Holiday Toy List and the hottest toy trends for the holiday season, with the help of its newest official toy-testers, the Amazon Playmakers and returning Amazon Playmaker Ambassador; Australian singer-songwriter and actor, Johnny Ruffo.
Amazon Australia and Starlight have enlisted the help of seven children to become this year’s Amazon Playmakers, as part of the annual initiative now in its fifth year. The Playmakers are children linked to Starlight’s programs, who have been sent a selection of the top 100 toys to test and review to help Australians with their holiday gift buying ahead of the Black Friday sales, which will feature deals on a huge range of toys and more.
To spread the holiday cheer, this November the Playmakers will band together with Johnny Ruffo and a
soon-to-be revealed Aussie singer-songwriter to star in a music video, recording a cover of a Christmas
classic to help spread cheer and raise additional funds for Starlight Children’s Foundation.
