Whisky Lovers Can Now Score Distillery Tours in the Dark

Whisky producer Penderyn has made a habit out of doing things a little differently. The brand resurrected the Welsh industry almost single-handedly, and now Penderyn is adding another feather to its bow. The “Night at the Distillery” immersive evening tours, which have run to great acclaim in Swansea are now coming to the distillery’s Llandudno location.

“After smashing it twice in Swansea and now creating an incredible nighttime experience, we’re rolling out the concept to our Llandudno distillery in North Wales,” Stephen Davies, CEO of Penderyn Distillery said. “Guests will be guided through an unforgettable journey into the art of whisky-making by the one-and-only Michael Harvey – the legendary Penderyn tour guide famous for his enthralling tales.”

According to the label, the atmospheric evenings kick off with a guided tour through Penderyn’s historic copperworks, providing a rare look at the iconic copper stills in action. Different tasting selections are featured nightly, with each “Night at the Distillery” promising a “multi-sensory exploration into the artistry and craftsmanship” behind these celebrated Welsh whiskies.
