Sebago Classic Dan Loafers
Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief
I’ve always thought loafers were the thinking man’s thongs. Simple and straightforward, the laceless shoes are the ultimate everyday essential and have the added versatility of being dressed up or down. I’ve been wearing my Sebago Classic Dans for over a year now I have to say, these are undoubtedly the most important shoes in my wardrobe. I wear them to events, date nights, weekends and, on one very embarrassing occasion, to the gym (don’t recommend). The slip-on design is, as the name would suggest, classic and typical of the penny loafer structure, however, it doesn’t have the rigid upper that many other models do. Instead, Sebago has adorned this footwear with an unlined upper, leather sock lining and waterproof, flexible, and durable natural leather soles with a moulded rubber heel. In a word, they are class.

Murrundi Apparel & Accessories
Frank Arthur – Co-Founder
I recently came across Murrundi, a brand that’s more than just clothing, it’s a celebration of Indigenous Australian culture. I picked up their black logo t-shirt, and while the fit and quality were impressive, what truly stands out is the mission behind the brand. Murrundi highlights the rich cultural heritage of the Wurundjeri people of Victoria, fostering values of respect, unity, and inclusivity.
They offer a range of products, from tees, hoodies, and jackets to kids’ apparel, jewellery, hats, and even coffee beans. Plus, some of their proceeds support Indigenous community initiatives, so your purchase contributes to something much bigger. It’s great to wear something that not only looks good but also supports the preservation and sharing of Indigenous culture.

Anker EverFrost 43L Powered Cooler
John Guanzon – Head of Social
We’re officially five weeks away from summer – and in the words of my Gen Alpha kids: wHaT tHe $iGmA?! What I love most about summer is the chance for more camping, road trips, and beach days—and recently, I had the perfect opportunity to put an ideal summer product to the test.
The Anker EverFrost 43L Powered Cooler is a portable, high-performance refrigerator/freezer designed for use in vehicles, camping, travel, and outdoor activities like fishing and picnics. It features a 299Wh detachable battery, which powers the cooler for up to 36 hours without the need for ice, doubling the available storage space. With a cooling range of -20°C to +20°C, it can quickly cool or freeze your food and drinks.
I recently took it along for a weekend family road trip, and I was pretty impressed by how fast it cooled down to -20°C, keeping everything perfectly chilled without needing a single ice pack or a bag of servo ice. It’s got an easy tow handle, just like a suitcase, which allows it to glide effortlessly, and the extendable table is a handy addition for outdoor dining.
I also love being able to control it via the Anker app to check temperatures and adjust cooling when necessary. Another cool bonus is its solar charging option, which means you can still charge the battery when off-grid, making it a true must-have for lovers of the outdoors.

Aeropress Coffee Maker
Dean Blake – Journalist – Tech, Entertainment & Features
I’m too lazy for a real coffee machine. There are a lot of very good coffee machines out there, but in my house, we’ve decided to keep things very simple and easy: we use a portable AeroPress as our everyday coffee maker and, honestly, it’s awesome. I’ve tried a few ‘proper’ coffee machines before and ended up getting frustrated with how often you need to clean, maintain, and refill them – that’s probably not a big deal to others, but to me, the absolute last time I want to be doing something like that is when I’m in dire need of caffeine. With the Aeropress, every few days I just put it all in the dishwasher, let it run overnight, and it’s brand new again in the morning.
If you’re not sure what an Aeropress is, it’s essentially a portable plunger-style coffee maker meant for travel and camping, but works just fine on a kitchen counter as well. You need to get specific paper filters, but they’re not too hard to find, and you can also upgrade to a reusable stainless steel filter if you’re feeling fancy. Either way, the whole process takes about a minute, and you’re left with a surprisingly good cup of joe that doesn’t require anything to be plugged in, takes zero effort to clean, and tastes great.

Roborock Qrevo Master Robot Vacuum & Mop
Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships
The long wait is over – I’m finally in the robo-vac game with the Roborck Qrevo Master. First things first, this thing is super easy to set up which was a huge ‘thank god’ moment for me. Clear, easy-to-follow instructions, QR codes and, of course, the robot is a low-key genius, so it helps you itself.
Now the obvious best bit—This thing gets the job done on both hard and soft floors. I was absolutely amazed by its ability to scour our entire apartment footprint, going from vacuuming soft floors to vacuuming AND MOPPING our hard floors. Being a flat vacuum it manages to get under wardrobes and chests of drawers, and it’s nimble enough to get into tight spaces. You can track exactly where the vac has been through the app which shows you a highly satisfying map of its cleaning path. There were many times I was shouting at my wife, ‘Look at where it is now,’ trying to impress her via vacuum, and to my absolute surprise, it was working. My wife loves it too.
There is a list of major wins that come with this thing. It cleans itself, returns to the dock when it needs charging, gets into corners and avoids obstacles, and—my personal favourite—you can set it to mop and clean your entire house as you head out the door to any social event. Beers taste better in the pub when you know your robot slave is hard at work at home.
Is this thing absolutely perfect with zero room for improvement? No. Does it cost a pretty penny? Yes. However, this product has left me with the greatest post-purchase satisfaction in a very long time.
