Initially launching in 2012, Beoplay A9 can blend in beautifully or stand out convincingly. It can stand on three wooden legs or hang on a wall to fill any living space with rich and spacious sound. To control the speaker, gently slide a hand across the surface to adjust the volume and tap to skip, play and pause.
Enhanced for 2019, the new Beoplay A9 introduces Google Assistant for instructing the speaker by voice, plus faster performance for Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2 connectivity. Active Room Compensation technology optimises sound performance based on your surroundings and gives you the best possible sound in every room of your house.
Two additional full range drivers on the back add to make seven drivers in total and provide a much broader and impressive soundscape. With an emphasis on detail, Beoplay A9 also comes with a stylish, refined fabric power cord.
Beoplay A9 will be available in white with oak legs, black with black walnut legs, a bronze tone and a brass tone special edition. However, you can easily create a personalised look through renowned Danish textile company Kvadrat, who offers a selection of textile covers and wooden legs.
Beoplay A9 will be priced from a hefty AUD $4,100 with local availability expected soon.
