Fender Unveils Their First Bluetooth Speakers

With a wildly acclaimed history that goes back decades, Fender is perhaps the foremost name when it comes to popular audio gear. Their guitars and amps are simply the stuff of legend and their designs are second to none. Now the stellar brand is taking their expertise into new territory with the release of two Bluetooth speakers. Resembling Fender’s own brilliant amps, each one is an instant classic.

Fender is offering two new models: The Monterey and The Newport. Both are wireless and include audio codec support as well as an onboard mic with echo cancellation. The Monterey is the larger of the two and it will instantly breathe new life into any environment before you’ve even turned it on. Taking visual cues from the renowned Fender ’68 Custom amps, it hosts details like a protective speaker grille, amp jewel and witch-hat knobs. Turn it on and get blasted by 120W of power through a quad-driver system that includes two woofers and two tweeters. At the back of The Monterey is a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack and two RCA jacks so you can connect it with any wired or wireless source.

The 30W Newport is the smaller of the two, though it still packs a sonic punch. Light and portable, it includes a tri-driver system with two woofers and one tweeter, a 3.5mm auxiliary input jack, a USB port and a 33 foot range. The Newport can run for 12 hours before needing a recharge.

Fender was already synonymous with clean and classic sound. With their Bluetooth speakers, they’ve taken those same standards and scaled them down for your convenience. Old school meets new school in stunning fashion. Your ears will thank you.
