The 2025 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix may still be over a week away, but McLaren Racing driver Oscar Piastri and Mastercard are starting the festivities early. The rising star, who will return to his home track at Albert Park for the season opener, has teamed up with the iconic payment platform to offer Aussie race fans a chance to score free signed merchandise and one-off exclusives. But don’t think it’s as simple as whipping out your credit card and buying a kit. To get your hands on some of the signed 2025 Oscar Piastri merchandise, you’ll need to find it first.

According to Mastercard, which is the primary partner of Piastri’s McLaren Racing, 20 exclusive signed pieces of merchandise have been scattered around Melbourne in the lead-up to the Grand Prix. Hidden in various locations, ranging from cultural institutions to corner-store cafes, the Oscar Piastri-signed goodies are offered to anyone with a keen eye for detail. The first five signed pieces went up for grabs earlier this week, with eagle-eyed Formula 1 fans quickly identifying Hugo’s Deli in Richmond as the first prime location. Come 9am on Monday, the much-loved cafe was swarming with papaya orange as fans clambered to nab an exclusive prize pack.
