Rams Reveal Blinged-Out Super Bowl Ring with One Insane Feature

The city of Los Angeles is no stranger to flashy diamonds, but the Rams are shining brightest this week. Four months after beating the Bengals 23-20 in Super Bowl LVI, the NFL team was recently presented with their championship rings. Over the past decade, victorious teams have attempted to raise the insanity levels of their ring design, and this year is no different. According to the team, this Rams’ ring has “the most diamond carat weight in Championship ring history”. However, the bling is just the beginning.

At first glance, the Rams Super Bowl ring looks like any other monstrous piece of jewellery you’d see worn by an athlete or celebrity. Yet, the wildest aspect is hidden under the removable hood, revealing a miniature replica of SoFi stadium. Furthermore, the underside of the removable top features part of the Super Bowl’s game ball. That’s correct, each ring includes part of the football that was used on the field.

Now, put on a jacket because it’s about to get icy.

The Rams were keen to celebrate the fact they won the Super Bowl in their home stadium. To commemorate the rare achievement, the designers put 20 carats of white diamonds on the ring, which represents the year SoFI Stadium opened (2020). Another way they honoured SoFi is by connecting the top part of the ring to the bottom of the ring with columns that are meant to represent the columns of the stadium. The columns feature .23 carats of diamonds to honour the 23 points the Rams scored against the Bengals in the Super Bowl.

The ring also comes with 1.12 carats of round diamonds, another significant number for the franchise. The 1.12 carats celebrate the date of January 12, which is when the Rams were approved to move to L.A. in 2016. It’s also the same date head coach Sean McVay was hired in 2017 and marks the date of their first playoff victory (January 2019) since returning to L.A. Rounding out the ring’s notable highlights, each piece features the final score from each of the Rams’ playoff wins.

In the clips below, you’ll see a number of players enjoying the new drip. And you’d hope they would like it, considering a number of players, including Aaron Donald, Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller, and Jalen Ramsey, helped design it alongside the production team of Jason by Beverly Hills.  If you want an idea of how big these rocks are, take a look at what it looks like on Aaron Donald’s hand.
