Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 1837 Australian Release Confirmed

The next shoe in a growing line of LVMH x Nike collaborations has been revealed, as @soleccollector confirmed the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 1837 will release on March 7th, 2023. Australian’s will have a chance to buy the shoe when it publicly releases on March 7th, 2023 at 10:00 pm AEST for $500 AUD.

While the news first came as a surprise, it’s hardly unexpected as French multinational LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton acquired a majority stake in Tiffany & Co for $15.8 billion on January 7, 2021.

Update (1/02/2023): Official images of the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 1837 have been shared by the brand. These align with the early leaks and showcase the same black colourway with premium materials on the upper, a Robin’s-Egg Blue Swoosh, and a 925 Tiffany plaque on the heel. As details are emerging, it’s unclear whether the shoe will be made in Italy, Paris, or in Tiffany facilities in New York, Kentucky or Rhode Island. Check out the suggested release details and leaked imagery below.

Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 1837 Release Information

SKU: DZ1382-001
Release date: March 7th, 2023 at 10:00 pm AEST.
Price: $500 AUD (confirmed).

Official images of the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 1837 can be found in the official Instagram post below, but what we’re really interested in are the accessories. Particularly that toothbrush.

Reactions to the accessories have been negative across the board, with fans of the Tiffany & Co. brand unsure of what relevance a Toothbrush plays to the Air Force 1. In short, it references the way sneakerheads clean their white AF1s, and continues the theme of the recently-released Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro ‘Since ’82’. However, these are black nubuck sneakers of which ‘cleaning’ has no relevance.

Other accessories include a shoe horn, whistle necklace, and robin’s-egg blue laces, all of which come with their respective Tiffany & Co. 925 logos to match the heel plate on the shoe.

Sneakerheads were quick to point out how the Air Force 1 collaboration might open the door for an official Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Tiffany’ after the controversy of the Nike SB Dunk Low x Diamond Supply Co. ‘Aqua Blue’, but we wouldn’t be so sure. That particular shoe has gone on to cement itself as arguably the biggest Dunk Low in the history of the brand, and as big as Tiffany and LVMH are, they can’t replace history.

Regardless, the Tiffany AF1 is just the first in a long line of collaborative efforts we expect to see from Nike and LVMH in the future. In the meantime, we’ll begin crossing our fingers as the shoe looks to release in Australia on March 7th, 2023 at 10:00 pm AEST via the link below.
