On December 14 – this coming Friday, Jim Beam is hitting 35 bars and pubs across the country, shouting Aussies a free drink and encouraging us to treat each other right. The free shout is introduced as part of Mate of a Mate’s Day, which is about two things that matter the most to Jim Beam – how to treat a person and how to make a good whiskey.
Head down to your local participating venue on the 14 December between 4-7pm to celebrate with a mate of a mate over a free Jim Beam and Cola or a Jim Beam Highball. You can find the full list of venues below.
“Jim Beam stands for togetherness, respect, unity and acceptance and Mate of a Mate’s Day allows us to recognise and celebrate those people who share the same values as us,” says Trent Chapman, Marketing Director Oceania at Beam Suntory.
“Come as a friend, leave as family’ are the words emblazoned on the walls of our distillery in the US, but the motto very much rings true to the Aussie culture.”
Mate of a Mate’s Day is part of Jim Beam’s latest campaign ‘Raised Right’, a nod to the people who do the right thing, day in and day out, whether they’re a mate or a mate of a mate.
